clubs & caucuses

A club is a local political organization formed to represent and mobilize Democrats within a specific geographic area, such as a city, neighborhood, precinct, or county district. These clubs exist solely based on location—their purpose is to organize Democrats who live within a defined boundary and connect them to the broader goals of the Democratic Party.  Clubs are governed by the county party.

A caucus is a political organization created by the Florida Democratic Party formed around a shared identity, interest, or policy issue—not geography. Unlike Democratic clubs, which are rooted in specific neighborhoods or districts, caucuses unite Democrats across different areas based on common values, experiences, or goals. Caucus Chapters are governed by their corresponding state caucus.
