Is your voter registration INACTIVE?

If you’ve come to this page, it’s probably because you received a text from the Hillsborough Democratic Party.  We’re reaching out to Democratic voters whose voter record has been flagged as “inactive” by the Supervisor of Elections.

Why was my voter record flagged?

There are many reasons a voter’s record might be flagged as inactive, but the most common are related to a household move.  Another common reason is because of an error in the voter’s mailing address on their record.

What do I need to do?

You should contact your local election official and inform them of your current residence address, and mailing address if different.

In Hillsborough County, Florida, that’s the Supervisor of Elections office. You can call or email them at:

(813) 612-4180
(888) 297-4362 (toll free)
voter@votehillsborough.gov

If you’ve moved to another Florida County, you can find your local Supervisor of Elections office at https://dos.elections.myflorida.com/supervisors/

If you’ve moved outside Florida, you should check with your local elections office.  Please also notify your old elections office to cancel your registration at your previous address.

Is there anything else I should do?

If you have submitted a Vote By Mail request, which we suggest that every voter do, it was cancelled when your voter record was flagged as inactive.  To submit a new Hillsborough County Vote By Mail request, visit the website https://www.votehillsborough.gov/VOTERS/Vote-By-Mail-Online-Request
